Being Happy/ Fall allergies

Did you blink and miss September? It was so warm here it seemed to still be summer! But now this week it feels like Fall has finally hit and the trees are turning colors at last.
I have been hearing LOTS of complaints about allergies this Fall. People affected with lots of congestion and vertigo as well as itchy eyes.  So I will remind you of a few tips when dealing with this.
Silver Shield liquid can be dropped in itchy eyes and squirted up congested nose to inhibit infections. HistaBlock inhibits histamine production so is a great antihistamine with none of the side effects of drugs. High Potency Garlic is a decongestant and coated with chlorophyll so it opens in intestine and does not cause digestive upset or garlic breath.
Sinus Support is another decongestant formula
DO rub on essential oils- Tea tree or Tie fu on the sinus areas- above the eyebrows, below the cheekbones (and behind the ears if dizzy)Take lots of Vitamin C as it is also an antihistamine.
And its a good reason to look forward to winter when all the pollen and mold is out of the way!

How can I afford to commit to a health program?
Many times people would really like to improve their health but complain that it is too expensive or hard to keep on a program. It is important to commit to 3 - 6 months of taking your supplements and making changes in your lifestyle to get an improvement that you can base a decision on.  To add them into your budget write down all that you spend your money on in a month- coffee, magazines, what? There is more spent on unnecessary things then you think. But even if you really don't think you can cut any fluff from your budget then consider the following option.
The Sunshine Rewards Autoship program comes every month and lets you buy at the cheapest price!  Order at least $100 of product every month, pay NO shipping AND  earn bonus credit to spend on your future orders.(change delivery time and items as you want)  So I hear you saying "But I dont need $100 of supplements each month!” but stop and look at household things you buy somewhere else. Sunshine toothpaste, Sunshine Concentrate liquid cleaner, Nature’s Fresh spray, healthy gum and mints, Pau d'Arco tea or Herbal beverage for a coffee replacement, Very Berry drink punch Sea salt and Red pepper in shakers, Solstic energy drink paks, flax oil for salad dressing (add to fresh lemon), Stock up on first aid items like Vitamin C powder, Probiotics, Tea tree oil, Peppermint oil, Lavender oil, kids Chewable vitamins,  hand sanitizer (use Silver Shield gel to kill virus up to 4 hours), lip balm, face wash and much more!
Turn your friends or family onto the great way you feel and see if they want you to buy them a bottle of something to feel as good as you. Read about all these on my website.
People appreciate hearing about YOUR solutions to the problems in today’s world- how to have more energy, sleep better, lose weight, keep you and your family healthy all winter, (try Seasonal Defense or the Elderberry formulas). Share how to take care of small first aid issues yourself and to clean the house safely without toxic products. Try sharing your good results and offering to help them get some of what you used. You will find people are looking for a better answer.

How to make junk food not enticing and Sunburn preventative

This month’s Sunshine sharing is on Junk Food. It explains the nutritional imbalances that can set us up to crave junk. If you can address some of the underlying deficiencies you will be amazed how easy it is to “change your taste buds” and find yourself preferring more healthy foods. REALLY!
Refined sugar is extremely addictive. They talk about the lack of good protein that can bring on craving but not mentioned is If you have an overgrowth of Candida Albicans yeast you will soon find your body choosing sugary food and foods that turn into sugar - breads, pasta, fruits, milk, cheese, alcohol.
There is a great cleanse to get you going in the right direction, Candida Clear, as well as Pau D’arco tea for maintenance (mix with other herb teas for variety of flavors)  I personally find that when I am especially stressed my adrenals send me to sugar to appease my elevated adrenaline rush. But I find if I take my daily Nutri-Calm (adding more when life is out of control!) then this does not happen.
One thing to help move away from JUNK is to be ready with a snack for those times you want something.Do you get cravings when you are out or at work?  Take TWO minutes to pack some nuts and dried fruit or a really tasty organic apple (there REALLY is a difference in taste of commercial and organic fruits and veggies)
GO to my blog or look up online energy balls and other snacks that are easy  to make and take.
Popcorn is a great evening snack- you can get wild and cook it in
and/or spray it with coconut oil. Add a little salt or cayenne pepper, or some parmesan cheese. It will be yummy and way healthier than the ready made.
After reading the newsletter try to decide WHAT is causing the cravings. Then take steps to do what you need to be in balance. It works!
SUNBURN season
Years ago I read an article a doctor wrote on the internet. He explained his theory that if a person has enough antioxidant intake he will not get sunburned. With the advice he had about supplements, I began using a routine that has kept me pretty much sunburn free with no sunscreen. Try it and see what you find. If expecting a heavy day of sunshine, going to the beach, being out on a boat, working in the garden at noonday, etc. I do the following:
1 tsp Vit. C Ascorbates-2000 mg
1/4 cup Thai Go Antioxidant drink
in water bottle and fill with water to drink within the first hours of your day. Be sure to shake well.
Take 1-2 Super Omega 3 Fats

Take along some Chewable Vit. C to eat every couple hours . When home have some more Thai Go and Vit. C Ascorbates. Later rub any warm/reddish skin with Emu and Lavender oil. Eat LOTS of fresh fruit and veggies all day. Its also another reason to do a super veggie/fruit juice shake in the morning with Love and Peas Protein Powder. Have FUN in the SUN!
