Homemade Energy balls

Raw Energy Bars - these are YUMMY and will cost less than the fancy store bought ones! Recipe from Kristie McNamara at www.tilvee.com. I downloaded it from the www.5050dietplan.com. In food processor cut up 4 dates (or 1/3 cup pre-chopped dates) blend in 1/2 cup raw Agave, 1 cup Almond Butter (I did it in a bowl) MIx in:1 cup NSP powdered protein-(I used Smartmeal Chocolate but you could try Love & Peas or Nutri-Burn), 1/2 cup coconut flakes (or ground), 3 Tablespoons ground seeds like sesame or flax, 2 Tablesppons NSP Greenzone Powder, 4 tablespoons dried berries. Press into 9x13 pan (I lined with parchment paper and dusted with carob powder) keep in freezer to stay fresh and wrap in parchment or wax paper, put in baggies for traveling. Could ROLL BALLS * and coat with ground coconut or raw cacao or carob as well. **NOTE** I found they hold together better if you roll them into balls about an inch wide of course I began to vary it to suit my needs SO my latest recipe is simpler- 1 cup Almond butter 1/4 cup or more of honey 3 TBS of ground flax seed 2-4 TBS of Raw Cacao powder 1/2 cup of NSP NATURE'S HARVEST PROTEIN POWDER 1/3 CUP Cacao nibs 1/3 cup goji berries Basically I start with the wet ingredients and mix in the dry and vary it as needed to make a stiff dough that I can roll in finely chopped raw coconut powder or cacao powder or ground nuts. I wrap them in packs of two or three with wax paper and store in the freezer but you could have in a box in a cool place at work or school I imagine. just dont bring too many at once ,keep the rest fresh in your freezer. be creative and let me know how YOURS turn out
